Plugin configuration is a sequential process, consisting of the next configuration steps:
(1) provide Jira FreshBooks Connector Plugin with FreshBooks API information.
(2) choose the task mapping strategy.
(3) provide mappings for the selected task mapping strategy.
(4) start the manual synchronisation.
Plugin configuration. Providing plugin with FreshBooks API information
- Log In, as an administrator (Figure 3)
- Go to the Administration section (Figure 4)
- Go to the Plugins menu,
choose the FreshBooks Configuration menu item (Figure 9) - Press the Edit Account Settings button (Figure 10)
- Click Log In (Figure 11)
- Log In to your FreshBooks account (Figure 12)
- Go to the My Account section (Figure 13)
- Go to the FreshBooks API page (Figure 14)
- Copy the API URL from the FreshBooks API page (in FreshBooks) (Figure 15)
- Paste it to the API URL in
the FreshBooks Authentication page (in Jira) (Figure 15) - Copy the Authentication Token from the FreshBooks API page (in FreshBooks) (Figure 16)
- Paste it to the Authentication Token field in
the FreshBooks Authentication page (in Jira) (Figure 16) - Press the Save button (Figure 17)
